Summary of Terms & Conditions
(Your letting contract will detail in full)

Self catering Lettings:

  • For self catering lets, and some regatta events, a 25% deposit is required at time of booking and the remainder 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Cancellations:

  • The deposit is non-refundable. There is no extra charge if you cancel more than 8 weeks prior to arrival.

  • If notice of cancellation is received less than 8 weeks prior to arrival, we will attempt to rebook the property.

  • If successful you will receive a refund in full less a handling fee.

  • If unsuccessful all monies paid shall be forfeited.

If you are concerned about the possibility of cancellation you are advised to take out travel insurance.

Early departure:

  • Full booking cost payable

  • Credit/debit card charges will be added to your booking value

Bookings:

  • Must be guaranteed by credit/debit card

Check Out:

  • Check out time is 10:30am; an extended checkout may be available by arrangement

No Smoking:

  • The Caledon is a no smoking house - both bedrooms and public areas and of course the dining room. Should you choose to ignore this policy, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your booking plus an additional £100 for specialist cleaning to your room. Payment will be taken from the card used to secure the room/s plus a 3% handling fee.

Damage:

  • Damage to The Caledon, whether reported or not will be invoiced. Non payment of the invoice will result in the monies being taken from the card details given to secure the booking.

Pets

  • Although we appreciate our animal friends, pets are not allowed at The Caledon. Sorry!
